Europe... and a short hiatus.

Well.  I don't know if you've noticed, buuuut I've been a little absent.  :}

I've debated back and forth if I should write this post, but lately, it's really been weighing heavily on me so I thought I should.  Between a full time job, life in general and the wedding planning I don't have time for much else right now.  When I do, I try to fit in more wedding DIYs or spend some quality time with Brian, family or friends.

I've decided (in order to keep my sanity) to take a short break from the blogging world.  Don't worry though!  I'll be back with more natural beauty, recipes, product reviews, DIYs, etc. after the wedding. That's not to say that I may not make a few random posts during this time on things I just can't not share, who knows!

I thought I'd [temporarily] go out with a bang and share some pictures from my trip to Europe earlier this month...another reason I was MIA.  :)

I hope you enjoy, and I'll see you, mostly, in about 5 months!

100% Pure Teaser...

I promise I haven't forgot about sharing natural beauty product reviews with you guys.  I'm just behind! ;)

Aaaand, to show you I haven't forgotten, I thought I'd share a teaser for my next product review...

I just received these lovelies in the mail this week and cannot wait to try them out!

This Natural Beauty set was a 100% Pure weekly special and a huge value! I saved $30 on products I've been wanting to try, just by buying them in the set.  Seriously, sign up for their emails...it. is. worth it.

I've been a user of 100% products for almost a year now and LOVE them. If you missed my other 100% Pure reviews, you can check them out by clicking on the links below:

100% Pure Cosmetics - Part 1
100% Pure Cosmetics - Part 2
100% Pure Cosmetics - Part 3
I'll report back in a couple weeks on this batch of goodies, once I give it a go!

Engagement Pictures!

For our upcoming nuptials, Brian and I knew we really wanted our lovely friends of Penny & Finn to be the photographers.  They just have this fun, easy-going, creative style that captures not only what you'd expect, but also little details that you wouldn't.  I think this helps create a real, well-rounded memory of the event that you might not get from other photographers. Plus, they are so fun to be around and work with!

Needless to say, we booked them.  Yay!  And on top of that, because they are such lovely friends, they decided they wanted to give us an engagement shoot as a wedding gift.  Double yay!  As Sara said... for them, it's a more personal gift than picture frames or something from Target..  and I couldn't agree more!  :)

So, a couple weeks ago we met up for brunch and then spent the day wandering and laughing... we were even able to get in some time with our two pups.

Here are our favorites from the day!

Thank you Matt & Sara!! We LOVE them! :)
